Veterinary Surgeons

Christian

Christian graduated from The University of Nottingham in 2016 and spent the next 6 years working at Cheshire Pet in Holmes Chapel, progressing through the ranks from graduate veterinary surgeon to becoming Clinical Director. He gained a vast amount of medical and surgical experience during his time there and particularly enjoys all things orthopedics. From fracture repairs to cruciate ligament injuries you will likely find Christian teaching surgeries between consultations.

Christian and Riaz set up their first practice, Tatton Veterinary Practice, in 2022 together and as such Christian spends his working time between both practices.

In his spare time, Christian enjoys playing squash and hiking with his wife and two children. He also has recently taken on a foster kitten called Pippin!

Riaz

Riaz also graduated from The University of Nottingham in 2016. Riaz initially spent four years working for the RSPCA in Greater Manchester prior to working for Greenbank Vets in Stockport and becoming the Clinical Director of The Vet Warrington thereafter.

Riaz’s passion is all things medical and cardiac, although you try to keep him out of the surgical suite!

Similarly to Christian, Riaz spends his time between both practices during the working week.

In his spare time, you’ll find Riaz with his wife and two Irish Setters enjoying the great Cheshire countryside. Riaz is also an avid football fan, unfortunately supporting his boyhood club, Arsenal!

Renata

Renata graduated from the University of Bristol in 2022 and since graduating has been working in Cheshire prior to joining Macclesfield Veterinary Practice.

Renata enjoys all aspects of small animal practice, but particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology.

In her spare time, Renata enjoys staying active and competing in CrossFit events.

Aimee RVN

Aimee

Aimee qualified as a veterinary nurse after doing her training at a referral practice in Cheshire, which allowed her to gain a wealth of experience of both emergency and critical care.

She started work with Riaz and Christian at their first practice in Knutsford  in 2021 and has moved to the Macclesfield branch as she enjoyed the connections that she gained with clients due to the longer consultation times and the variety of animals that she was able to care for.

In her free time she likes to take her Cocker spaniel (Senna) on long walks with her husband and daughter.

Clare

Clare carried out her training at a practice in Knutsford before moving to us in 2025. She has a strong passion for nurse consultations, care of hospitalised patients and client care. She is looking to further her skills in dentistry with advanced nurse training.

In her spare time she can be found helping out at her partners Dairy farm with her trusty sidekick Ozzy the Cockapoo.
